I sat in my car, gripping the steering wheel. The lump in my throat grew larger and larger.

Finally, tears welled up in my eyes.

That look! Just moments ago, my baby son shot me a look of surprised betrayal and sadness when I handed him over (yet again) to the daycare workers that morning.

The unexpected glance pricked deeply.

It wasn’t my intention to have children and put them in daycare - quite the opposite! 

Pre-marriage, I had visions dancing in my head of being the perfect work-at-home mom, my children by my side.

But - as often happens - life had spun out from underneath me.

“Reality” had crept in.

And now, even though my husband and I both worked day in, day out, missing the little moments with our children while they were young, we found ourselves barely able to make ends meet. 

Not to even mention the relentless WORKING MOM GUILT I constantly felt.

The gravity of it all was bone-crushing.

That moment, in the car, I thought to myself, “Am I going to continue on like this? Will I live spinning my wheels in ‘survival mode’ forever?” 

I couldn’t.

The thought of it was something I could barely stomach.

For years, I had been on a feverish search online for some way to start my own company or work from home.

I had no idea what I was looking for or who to trust. 

I spent a lot of time failing (i.e. learning) while trying to "figure it all out." I felt like a personal failure. 

But, I didn't give up! I would stay up late into the night after working full-time just to continue to figure this online thing out.

Years later, when my first marriage eventually crumbled, I found myself a single mother with joint custody. Bills piled up around me, but now I didn't have a second income to fall back on!

I was DESPERATE...

Until one day, I was randomly scrolling through YouTube and found a short (weird) video…

And it talked about how I could create my own business, online...from my laptop...in a short amount of time.

But this time, THE RIGHT WAY.

I was pretty skeptical (duh, right)...

but after just a few minutes, I realized that my life was about to take a huge turn…

And it did.

If someone had told me one year ago that I could have the ability to set my own schedule, build FREEDOM and INCOME, and start to live out my dreams while helping others to do the same, I would have wanted to believe them...but probably wouldn’t! 

The growth that I’ve experienced has been amazing! Working with a community of financially successful entrepreneurs who care about each other is truly a blessing. 

The transformation I’ve experienced in the past few months took me from living unfulfilled, frustrated and trapped, to the place where I can now aspire to LIVE life on my own terms. 

I’m finally living my own DREAM.

This whole thing has been an answer to prayer (really)!
